Clinical Notes for Equine Gold

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yang corresponds symbolically to fire. In the body, Yang refers to the body's heat source, which is responsible for the intensity of internal fluctuations. When the body temperature diminishes, the vital functions slow down. The Chinese call this "vital heat" or "the fire of life". The western notion of "basic metabolic rate" that is, the quantity of heat produced per hour and per square meter of body surface, while resting and on an empty stomach is essentially comparable to the effect of Yang as described by the Chinese.

In the body, Yang is represented by the actions of heating, transforming, transporting, retaining, and protecting. In the case of Yang Xu these actions will be compromised depending on the severity of the condition.

In general, Yang deficiency reduces the vigor of vital energy (Qi), leading to a loss of strength and a feeling of fatigue.

Application

Dog cross natural formulas are easy to use. Each unit contains 15 packets of herbs. Open and mix the contents of one packet with a small amount of feed once per day in most cases. For faster results, two packets per day may be recommended. For temperamental eaters, mix with molasses or apple sauce. For optimal results, use 15 consecutive days for the first time. Should be repeated every 2 months for 5 days or as recommended. Use Dewormer Two for more chronic or severe cases. For faster action, administer as a decoction and prepare as follows: bring 500 ml (2 cups) of water to a boil in a non-metallic pot. Pour over packet, let steep for 5-10 minutes. Mix tea and contents of bag with feed. Give the tea mixture to the horse while it is still as warm as the horse can comfortably eat it. Never reheat cold tea.

Length of Treatment

In general, we estimate about one month of treatment for every year the horse has had a problem for. Some horses react quicker to the formulas than others. In the case of a prevention or maintenance program, we recommend you contact a Horse Sense Herbs specialist.
